  • 2023 Graduate
Research Interests: Microgrids; Sustainable Construction; Food-Water-Energy Nexus

Meg graduated from Vassar College in 2015 with a B.A. in Science, Technology & Society, and a minor in public policy economics. After graduating, Meg worked with a small non-profit in rural Nicaragua called Grupo Fenix, eventually managing a construction project with a local team building composting latrines with natural materials such as adobe and bamboo. Meg joined the UC Davis Energy Graduate Group in fall 2018, where she was struck by the central role of Lithium-ion batteries in California’s clean energy transition. She has since shifted her research to focus on informing policy to create a sustainable and equitable supply chain and end-of-life pathway for Li-ion batteries.
