Yunzhu Chen

Yunzhu Chen is a Ph.D. student in Energy Systems at UC Davis and holds a master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from Tsinghua University. Her current work focuses on electric vehicle life cycle emissions, battery recycling, and critical mineral circularity. She uses fleet modeling, life cycle assessment, and industrial ecology approaches to study clean transportation transitions. Outside of research, she enjoys spending time in nature, being by the ocean, cats, cute creatures, and conversations with interesting people.
