Jameel Jamhar holds a Bachelor in Technology in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Agartala. He has gained practical experience through internships, including as a DAAD WISE Research Intern at Technische Universität Braunschweig, where he conducted a cost-comparative economic analysis of a solar-integrated hydrogen production plan between Germany and India, as well as a cost analysis of PEM and alkaline electrolyzers. At the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, Jameel worked on the financial and techno-economic aspects of hydrogen production from natural gas.
Currently, Jameel is deepening his expertise in energy systems and project finance at UC Davis. He hopes that the graduate program will equip him to build a successful career in project finance, focusing on helping companies finance their transition to sustainable energy and contributing to the global shift towards a zero-net-energy future.
