The California Lighting Technology Center recently released its video series covering the 2022 Title 24, Part 6 lighting requirements. These videos aim to provide practical insights for implementing code-compliant lighting in both nonresidential and residential buildings throughout California.
The video series features five segments, each focusing on a specific aspect of the 2022 Energy Code, which became effective on January 1, 2023:

- 2. Indoor Lighting Alterations
- 3. Lighting Controls Acceptance Testing
- 4. High-Efficacy Lighting for Residences
- 5. Outdoor Lighting & Sign Control Requirements
Developed with support from Southern California Edison and in collaboration with RMS Energy Consulting, LLC, and the California Energy Commission, these videos offer a straightforward guide to understanding and implementing the latest lighting standards.
