A Los Angeles Times article focuses on analysis by the UC Davis Center for Water-Energy Efficiency which found that urban water conservation during California’s historic drought have saved significant amounts of electricity and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.

Commenting on the study in the June 7, 2016 Times’ article, CWEE Director Frank Loge said: “I think one of the biggest lessons for me and others in the state as we begin to think about the path forward is the real potential to invest energy efficiency money into water conservation.”
