Lighting Center & Partners Receive $5M+ to Expand Electrical Training Programs

The US Department of Labor awarded $5M+ to the California Lighting Technology Center and its partners to support the expansion of electrical training programs across California and Nevada. This four-year funding will be used to develop a Smart Cities apprenticeship track that includes advanced electrical training on a variety of topics. [More]

Institute Featured in New Magazine 

The Energy and Efficiency Institute was featured in Energy Services Today, a quarterly magazine for the energy services industry. New Solar Tracking Lighting System Installed

The California Lighting Technology Center installed and is evaluating a new solar tracking lighting system at its facility. The system captures and leads sun rays through the property–deep into the building and far away from windows. Project partners include the California Energy Commission, Sonoma Clean Power Authority, and Frontier Energy Inc. [More]
