Welcome to the New Class of Energy Graduate Group Students

UC Davis welcomed its third class of Energy Graduate Group students. Water Center Hosts Annual Water-Energy Plenary

The Center for Water-Energy Efficiency joined with the California Water Efficiency Partnership to host this year’s Fall Plenary. CWEE executive director Kendra Olmos gave an opening presentation and CWEE researchers led an interactive session on optimizing energy use. Lighting Center Announces Circadian Lighting Collaborative

The California Lighting Technology Center is collaborating with the Lighting Research and Innovation Center at King Monkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. Working together, the centers will co-develop circadian lighting design for healthcare and assisted living. [More]

National Rural Electric Cooperative Association Visits

The NRECA's Member Advisory Group for Distributed Energy Resources hosted their biannual meeting at the Institute. We shared relevant R&D we are doing on heat pumps, lighting, and electric vehicles. SMUD and Clean Valley Energy also presented their work on recent initiatives.

TRC Joins as New Affiliate

TRC joined the UC Davis Western Cooling Efficiency Center as its newest industry affiliate. TRC is a consulting firm providing advanced energy services for integrative across-the-meter management through energy efficiency, demand response and distributed energy resources. [More]
