  • Fasttrack to Energy Careers Bootcamp

    Date: August 19-20, 2019
    Location: University of California, Davis
    Description: The UC Davis Energy and Efficiency Institute, in conjunction with PG&E, is hosting a 2-day Training Course for students interested in pursuing careers in the energy field. Participants will: learn about building energy use and efficiency, get hands on experience, learn how to conduct a basic energy audit, and network with professionals in the energy field. Veteran students are encouraged to attend. Participation is open to students from: UC Davis, Community Colleges, Sacramento State, and other local education institutions.
    Cost: Registration is free, however participants will be responsible for their own travel costs.
    Housing: We will provide on-campus housing for military-associated students traveling for the training.

  • 4th Annual Water Data Summit

    Data: Powering California to a Better Water Future

    Date: August 22-23, 2019
    Location: University of California, Davis
    Description: The 4th annual Water Data Summit will feature leaders from California’s most innovative public agencies, companies and academic institutions who are using data to better manage water resources throughout the state. We’re excited to have Wade Crowfoot, California Secretary of Natural Resources provide a keynote address highlighting the importance of using data to address California’s water challenges.
