Angela Sanguinetti is a Research Environmental Psychologist at UC Davis Energy and Efficiency Institute and Institute of Transportation Studies. She directs the Consumer Energy Interfaces Lab (cEnergi.ucdavis.edu), where she leads research on the theory, design, and evaluation of eco-feedback interfaces that nudge consumers toward more responsible resource use. Dr. Sanguinetti also studies consumer adoption of energy-efficient technologies and influences of the built environment on sustainable behavior. Outside her work at Davis, Sanguinetti directs the Cohousing Research Network (CohousingResearchNetwork.org), whose mission is to increase the rigor and reach of research on collaborative neighborhood design and intentional community. She has a PhD in Planning, Policy & Design with an emphasis in Design-Behavior Research from University of California, Irvine, and an M.S. in Behavior Analysis from California State University, Stanislaus.
