Tari’s work centers on the intersection of sustainability, business strategy, and inclusive development, with project experience across Asia, Europe, and the United States. She has conducted research and consulting projects addressing the barriers to sustainable technology adoption in disadvantaged communities, particularly around clean heating and cooling solutions.
Most recently, she conducted a three-week field study in Los Angeles as part of her graduate research at the University of Tokyo. In collaboration with an industry partner’s transformation director, she carried out stakeholder interviews with community-based organizations and local NGOs to identify adoption challenges in low-income neighborhoods. Her fieldwork was further supported by researchers at UCLA’s Institute of the Environment and Sustainability.
Fluent in English and Japanese (TOEFL 110, JLPT N1), Tari thrives in cross-cultural environments and brings strong skills in structured interviews, policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project design. She is currently seeking academia, research and consulting roles in ESG, strategy, or development—particularly in the US, Singapore and the Netherlands, or globally—where she can apply interdisciplinary (social studies and engineering research) to real-world impact.
