Jean received her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences from UC Berkeley with a research focus on renewable energy economics. Prior to joining UC Davis, she worked at the California Independent System Operator for two years, specifically on the interconnection process of energy storage and renewable energy projects. At UC Davis, she will be researching the technical and economic impacts of electric vehicle charging on California’s electric grids. She is passionate about understanding how policies facilitate grid integration of renewable energy and electric vehicles in ways that yield the largest economic and environmental benefits.
