I am Thanakorn Piyayothin. My academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. Before beginning my academic journey at UC Davis in the Energy Graduate Group (EGG), I worked as a petroleum engineer at the Department of Mineral Fuels, Ministry of Energy, Thailand. I’m proud to be a recipient of the Thai Royal Government scholarship, which has strengthened my commitment to significantly contributing to Thailand’s sustainable energy future. My areas of interest include energy economics, public finance within the energy sector, and sustainable energy storage and technology.
