Sıdıka received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Yıldız Technical University and a Master’s degree in Energy Science and Technology from Istanbul Technical University. During her master’s studies, she worked on lithium-ion battery modeling and thermal management, with a focus on the thermal performance of prismatic electric vehicle batteries. Her research involved electrochemical-thermal modeling of lithium-ion batteries, investigation of different battery chemistries and operating conditions, and the development and optimization of battery thermal management systems. Her research interests include lithium-ion battery modeling, battery thermal management, and battery materials and performance optimization. She is pursuing a Ph.D. in Energy Systems at UC Davis.
