Chris Weyandt leads the ongoing commissioning program for Sustainable Berkeley Lab, aimed at improving the energy performance of LBNL facilities. He draws on his background in facility maintenance, construction, electronics engineering, information technology, and building automation systems to develop innovative solutions for the modernization and optimization of buildings. He is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and a Professional Control Systems Engineer (PE). He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota with additional studies in Computer Science at St. Paul Technical and Community College, and is currently a graduate student in Information and Data Science at the University of California, Berkeley.
