Next-Generation Cooling Strategies for High-Density Data Centers

This presentation will provide an update on WCEC’s work in data center energy efficiency, including the development of modular, high-density, cooling-efficient data center systems. The research includes a 100 kW capstone demonstration with integrated compute and cooling, as well as ongoing evaluation of liquid cooling technologies and retrofit strategies. The project also explores pathways for improving cooling performance, reducing energy use, and enabling scalable deployment of next-generation data center infrastructure.
