Representatives from NEDO Silicon Valley, part of Japan’s New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization, visited UC Davis to tour the Energy and Efficiency Institute, the Western Cooling Efficiency Center, the EEI Smart Home, and the California Lighting Technology Center. During the visit, researchers showcased advanced building technologies and shared their work on energy efficiency, load flexibility, and connected building technologies, highlighting EEI’s role as a global hub for applied energy innovation.
